Freeze HR Transactions

If the company uses IPS as the local Payroll Application and this process is executed, the system will not allow any change to the Employee, Payroll, Comp & review and Taxes sections of the Employee Maintenance module until the Payroll Process is completed or the transactions are "unfrozen" by the system administrator.

Vacation Schedule

The freeze action is intended to maintain the employee HR and Payroll records unaffected while payroll is being processed.

Remark: The system will not allow user to close the current Pay Period unless the HR transactions are frozen first. The updates in employee records and other will be possible again when the current pay period is closed and the new period begins.

Go to Management. Select Freeze HR Transactions.
Click on Freeze Now.

The system will then freeze employee records and transactions.
