The Home screen
This is a Welcome page for users whose access privileges include
View HR and Payroll data. The user is presented with two pie charts
illustrating Human Resources and Payroll information.
The chart on the left contains headcount information, and includes
the option to create different graphs by selecting one of three
options (depending user acess privileges):
- Operations - Chart is based on current FEPS structure
levels:
- Company Code
- Division
- SBU
- Location
- Team
- HR - Chart is based on current Business structure
levels:
- Company
- Business Group
- Business Unit
- Line of Business
- SBU Client Id
- Cost Center
- Hybrid - Chart is based on a combination of both
structures:
- Region Code
- Country Code
- Corporation
- Business Group
- Business Unit
- Line of Business
- Entity Code
- Cost Center
Viewing and creating different HeadCount pie charts:
- Click on desired option: Operations/HR/Hybrid.
- Hover mouse pointer over a pie chart section to view the
corresponding percentage information.
- Click on a label in the pie chart section to view next level
detail.
- Go back to any of the previous views by clicking on the labels
shown on top of pie chart.
- Click on 'Start' to view the chart which correspond to the
first level in the structure.
The chart on the right provides Payroll information (Total gross
pay). The user can customize graph report to show data based on
Last or Current Pay Period, as well as different organizational
levels. All amounts are shown in U.S. Dollars.
Viewing and creating different Payroll pie charts:
- Select Last or Current Pay Period to view corresponding data.
Please note that in order to view data from Current Pay Period, a
Payroll
Process must have been completed, otherwise the graph will show
no results.
- Select one of two options:
- Sum - Chart shows total payroll expenditure.
- Average - Chart shows average gross pay (total payroll divided
by number of employees in that level).
- Hover mouse pointer on one of the pie sections to view
information regarding percentage and total employees included in
that portion. In addition, the difference between the total amount
in current level and the amount in that chart section is shown for
a more detailed reference.
- Click on a label in the pie chart section to view next level
detail.
- Go back to any of the previous views by clicking on the labels
shown on top of pie chart.
- Click on 'Start' to view the chart which correspond to the
first level in the structure.
IMPORTANT:
- Keep in mind these graphics are created considering employees
whose earnings were larger than $ 0.00 only. Therefore, total
employees shown in this report may not match actual headcount.
- Please note that in companies where IPS is not used as the
local payroll application, the user will ONLY see the HR pie
chart.
- Click on the company logo in the upper left to return to the
Home screen from other system menus.
