IPS Change Management Procedures
Any IPS user who wants to request any changes in IPS, or new
functionality initiated, will need to initiate the request through
the form provided under the System Documents menu.
All user requests are subsequently reviewed by the Change
Management Committee.

IPS Change Management Procedure
- Authorized Requestors sign into the application and download
the Change Control Request Form located in the following path: IPS
menu > System > System Documents
- Requestor fills in the required information and then emails the
completed form to the appropriate Tower Lead approver.

- EMERGENCY REQUEST PROCEDURE STEP - Tower Lead forwards
approved request to IPS Team. The request continues to follow the
standard process, along with a note in the email to the next
approver that the emergency status was approved and the IPS team
had been notified.
- Tower Lead approves request, and forwards the request to the
HRIS VP approver.
- HRIS VP approves request, and forwards to HR Change Committee
manager.
- HR Change Committee approves request, and manager forwards
request to IPS Team. Email trail serves as approval
signatures.
- IPS team contacts the client in order to interact, discuss,
research for alternatives, reports, feedback, legal support of the
change if any, etc.
- After the Client's discussion, IPS team: (Dev and Support)
review the item (s), development time, QA time, Staging Time and
then assign the real priority, and the roll out / Sprint where this
item will be released to production.
Then the IPS Team notifies the client when the expected date the
item will be release to production. Finally, the team enters the
request into the local development tracking system and executes the
development process.
