This functionality allows user to change employee current job title
without making any salary adjustment.
Go to Human Resources. Click on Employees.
Enter Employee WIN and click on 'Lookup Employee', or click on
'List' to select desired record from employee listings.
Once the employee record is shown, click on the 'Job Changes'
tab in the Employee Maintenance page.
From the 'Data Changes' menu, click on Job Code / Title Change
/ Reclassification. Note the system has provided a functionality to
navigate between employee records. Use the arrows in the upper part
of the screen.
Review and complete the following fields:
Effective Date: Use display calendar to select date.
Change Reason: Select appropriate reason to describe the job
change:
102-Job Change. (Employee will perform tasks which correspond
to a different job description).
301-Reclassification. (Employee current job has changed its
name).
305-Lateral Transfer. (Employee has been assigned a different
position in the same organizational level).
TITCOR-Title Correction. (Employee job title needs to be
corrected).
Job Code: Select desired code from drop-down menu.
Job Family and Job Level values will be automatically populated
once the Job Code is selected.
Alternate Job Title: If needed, user may associate the actual
Job Title with an alternate title -or local language title
translation- for clarification purposes, or to better reflect local
operations. Enter up to 35 characters.
Requisition ID: Enter Id only when position is filling an
internal requisition.
Candidate ID: Enter Id only when position is filling an
internal requisition.
Click on Submit. A confirmation window will popup. Please take
some time to verify all return details are correct.
Click on Confirm to complete the process, or click on Cancel to
make corrections.
