SBU Work Schedule
IPS users from the HR staff, with access to the Maintenance menu,
may set a specific work schedule for different Division, SBU,
Location or Team, and also for morning, afternoon and evening
shifts.
Setting an SBU Work Schedule:
- Go to Maintenance, select System Settings and click on SBU Work
Schedule. User will be prompted to set the following levels:
-
- Company Code: It will appear set to company in user session,
and will be grayed out.
- Pay Period: It will default to current period, but user may
select a different one from the drop down menu.
- Division: Select from drop down menu.
- SBU ID: Select from drop down menu.
- Location: Select from drop dowm menu.
- Team: Select from drop dowm menu.
NOTE: If Location is set to ALL, then schedule will apply
for all employees under all locations and all teams under the
selected SBU.
Please note that SBUID cannot be set to ALL.
- Click on Change. System will take user to the SBU Work
Maintenance -Add screen where selected hierarchy levels will
appear grayed out.
- Go to the desired shift section (Morning, Afternoon or Evening)
and click on the checkbox next to every day which must be
considered as workday. This will cause that if employees do not
register time clocks on any of those days, then attendance record
will show ABSEN (absence).
- Leave checkbox next to weekly rest days unchecked. This will
cause attendance record to show RESTD (rest day) in case employees
do not register any time clocks on that day.
SBU Work Schedule will remain valid for subsequent pay periods
until changed. For making changes in a particular schedule, user
must search for schedule, make the necessary corrections in each
shift working days and click on Change. The new schedule will be
effective immediately without affecting attendance records from
previous pay periods.
In case a specific schedule has been set for all teams under a
given SBU, but then it is necessary to set different schedules for
each team under that SBU, user needs to delete the SBU Work
Schedule first, and then proceed to set different schedules for
each team one by one.
Deleting an SBU Work Schedule:
- Go to Maintenance, select System Settings and click on SBU Work
Schedule. Search for existing schedule by setting the corresponding
hierarchy levels.
- Click on Delete (upper left). System will issue a warning
message on the top right.
- Click on Delete (bottom left). Schedule will be deleted.
