Field Descriptions

For IPS Administrator use only.

The Global Updates feature offers users a tool to make multiple employee record changes at the same time by uploading a previously completed spreadsheet. When users click on the 'View Valid Fields details' link, they are presented with a new window where all field descriptions -or definitions- are provided.
The Field Descriptions module is where the System Administrator can manage all the information contained in those concepts.
  1. Go to Maintenance menu, select System Catalogues, and click on Field Descriptions.
  2. Double click on desired line to select a Description from menu. Use the paging buttons to search for more existing Descriptions.
  3. Enter/edit description as necessary:
